Under the spell of Calima, the world shifts into something unearthly. Dust from the Sahara drapes the sky in a golden haze. The sun fades into a pale disc, a phantom glowing through desert air. Horizons blur, shapes soften, and light turns surreal.

Mountains, dunes, and ocean reflect shades of ochre and bronze, as if painted with molten light and sand. For a fleeting moment, the world feels suspended—strange, beautiful, and utterly transformed.

CHASING THE EVER-SHIFTING OCEAN GLOW

Sometimes, the horizon is more than a line—it’s a portal where light and water merge. At twilight, sky and sea dissolve into one, reflections breaking free, shifting, breathing, alive.

The setting sun ignites the sky in hues of gold, purple, and fire. Clouds catch its glow, dancing above, while below, the ocean mirrors this cosmic display. Light ripples across the waves, bending, dissolving, creating a fleeting dimension where air and water entwine.

Due to the weather conditions ferries stoped running and don’t bring new guests.

To reach Batu Caves visitors must climb a steep flight of 272 steps. Being accompanied by those sweet and … very dexterous macaques! It’s amazing to watch how they just get what they want. And you have no choice but to give them what they demand 😉

KUALA LUMPUR STREETS

Look up and the first thing that will catch your attention is impressive modern skyline of skyscrapers and among them the famous Petronas Twin Towers reigning over the heads…. makes you feel so tiny…

Look down and around you. And you feel like in a different place, drown to the cosines of the old shops in the narrow streets, to the smell of fresh cooked food from the street stall, scent of the pandan leaves. Where local people gather together to enjoy the warm tropical evening.
